Ezra’s Prayer | Ezra 9:1-15

June 26, 2022: We first meet the title character of Ezra in Chapter 7. After reading his pedigree, we see that Ezra was sent by King Artaxerxes to check out the temple and bring his offering to God. When he arrives, he finds that some of those already living in Judea are violating God’s law. Today’s passage is Ezra’s public prayer to God expressing grief for the sins of Israel. We can learn from this prayer in our time as well.
